The End Result

They contacted me — no joke!

Last summer they actually sent me an email because someone on their team told the Managing Director at MUO that I had excellent comments on MUO Answers. Well, I was excited, but I let the opportunity slip by and never followed through — stupid move.

Then this summer I built up the courage to email them again, apologize for not jumping on the opportunity and ask if there were any openings. There weren’t, but they told me they’d keep me in mind.

Not long later they emailed me again saying there was a position open and wanted to know if I was still interested in applying — of course I was. So I did and that article was my submission piece. My next article will be coming out on Wednesday.

Still kind of hard to believe that here I am writing for a pretty major tech blog that I have always looked towards for awesome information… and now I’m providing that same information? Weird. But cool! But weird.
